After seven years of service, the Richwood Library bids farewell to their director Sarah Moore. Sarah is moving on in her career as the new Executive Director of the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library in Zionsville, Indiana. Sarah has improved the library by adding new technological services, fostering community relationships, and offering programs to meet community needs. Sarah is also responsible for the membership that the library now has in the Serving Every Ohioan Consortium that gives patrons access to over 8 million items. Staff and library patrons are sure to miss Sarah's leadership and innovative ideas. Fortunately, Audrey Deel is now the new Interim Director. Audrey has seven years of experience at the Richwood-North Union Public Library where she has served as a Library Assistant, Teen Department Programmer, and Youth Services Librarian. Audrey is a 2010 graduate of North Union High School and recently earned her Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University. Audrey is very devoted to her local community and is anxious to give back in this new role. The opportunity to be the Library Director in her hometown is Audrey's "dream job". Audrey will take over as director effective February 14.
