June 7 (10:00 am- 1:00 pm)- Kick-Off Party Join us for fun activities & giveaways including a face painter, refreshments, colorful activities, selfie station, & more! Featuring Fruit Bucket Smoothie Truck. June 12 (5:30 pm)- The Art of Collage Rip, snip, cut, & create with inspiration from children’s book author, Eric Carle. You can choose and arrange materials to compose your own work of art! June 20 (5:30 pm)- The Art of Animation Game on! It’s a video gaming challenge for all ages! We’ve got Switch games for big kids and hand-held games for the youngest of players. Enjoy an evening of gaming and pizza! July 10 (6:00 pm)- The Art of Music: Featuring Didgeridoo Down Under Journey to the Australian Outback! This show is an energetic fusion of live didgeridoo music, real live animals, hilarious interactive storytelling, and so much more! Not sure about digeridoos? They’re long wooden wind instruments! June 3 (6:00 pm)- Craft Club It’s like painting...without the paint. Make a yarn painting with us! June 5 (11:00 am-12:00 pm)- Pop-Up Library The library will be at Richwood Greene Senior Living with materials to check out! Just when you think you couldn’t be more awestruck, North Union Science Teacher, Lauren Seas, will blow your mind with her magical science tricks. Grab a hot dog & chips from the Hope Center Food Truck before the show. July 28- The Art of Fashion: Kids Take & Make Pick up a craft bag and create a DIY Crossbody Bag! Easy for toddlers as well as tweens. July 31 (5:30 pm)- The Art of Architecture Combine art and construction as you design and build your own colossal structure. Pyramid or palace? Create it using wood, Styrofoam, cardboard, straws, and other cool materials. Everyone can be an architect. August 1 (5:30-6:30 pm)- End of Summer Party It’s a chalk & popsicle party in our Greenspace! Let’s celebrate! TEENS KIDS & FAMILIES June 11 (5:30 pm)- Art Gallery of Books Sometimes it’s cool to judge a book by it’s cover! Let’s view different genres in our book gallery while enjoying appetizers & mocktails. June 16- Teen Take & Make Pick up a craft bag and create textured Clay Relief Tiles inspired by Scottish artist, Hike MacIntyre. June 26 (5:00 pm)- The Art of Cooking Order up! Teams compete, Iron Chef style, to create the winning dish containing one mystery ingredient! Mix, chop, and garnish and then let the judges decide. July 2 (5:00 pm)- Sparks: Art Therapy Calm your thoughts, reduce anxiety, and feel more in control of your world with art therapy. Join us for a fun and relaxing paint session with yummy snacks! July 18 (5:30 pm)- Squirt Gun Fabric Art It’s a BLAST! We’re fabric painting with squirt guns! Bring a white cotton t-shirt or we’ll provide a bandana. While they dry, try out our Ice Cream Sundae Bar. Supplies limited and weather permitting. July 30 (5:30 pm)- Bad Art Night A freestyle craft contest where the “worst” wins!
